About GLP-1 Food Compare

GLP-1 Food Compare helps people taking GLP-1 medication compare everyday foods using clearly presented nutrition facts.

Last updated: September 25, 2026

Why this exists

Products marketed to people taking GLP-1 medications often use phrases such as “GLP-1 friendly” or “balanced.” In the United States, FDA has not established nutrition criteria for a “GLP-1 friendly” claim. Separate nutrient-content claims, including terms such as “high” for protein, are governed by FDA labeling rules. This site puts the available nutrition facts side by side, with links to the source, so readers can compare the labels directly.

Who maintains this site

We maintain GLP-1 Food Compare as a food-comparison directory. We check every item against the source linked on its page before it goes live. We don’t provide medical reviews or claim medical or nutrition credentials.

How current the information is

We don’t follow a fixed review schedule. Each item shows when we last checked its source. Products can change, so check the linked source for the latest information.

Partnerships and transparency

We may work with brands, publishers and other partners to support the site and help people discover it. Any paid promotion or commission-earning link will be clearly identified where it appears.

Nutrition comparisons follow our published methodology. Commercial relationships do not change recorded nutrition values or replace our source checks.

What it covers

The directory includes published frozen meals, packaged snacks and protein shakes. More foods are added as their nutrition information is verified.

Each food page shows the serving size, the nutrition fields shown on this site, dietary attributes, three calculated ratios, source links and the date last checked.

What it deliberately does not do

  • No proprietary score, grade or traffic-light rating.
  • No claim that a food is approved, safe or medically suitable for any individual.
  • No taste reviews or personalized meal recommendations.
  • No estimated or crowd-sourced nutrition values.

How it works

We enter each food by hand and check it against first-party sources before it appears on the site. Read the methodology for the field-by-field rules and the sources policy for what counts as a source. The medical disclaimer explains the limits of everything here.
