Our hosting and security providers process your IP address, browser information, page address, and request time to deliver and protect the site. They may use security cookies to distinguish people from automated traffic.

Usage and performance

We use third-party analytics to understand visits, referring sites, devices, browsers, language, approximate location, and interactions such as link clicks. These services receive page URLs. Search terms and selected foods appear in URLs and may be included in analytics and server logs. We do not use advertising pixels or build profiles from your food choices.

We also record limited feature-use counts and website speed measurements to improve the directory. These separate measurements exclude search text, food names, and full URLs. Feature-use counts include a temporary deduplication identifier. These measurements respect your browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control settings.

Browser storage and your choices

Your comparison shortlist is saved in this browser. Remove it with “Clear shortlist” or your browser’s site-data settings. Shared comparison links contain the selected food addresses. You can also manage cookies and block analytics through your browser settings or extensions.
