Vital Pursuit pizza: Max Pro and cauliflower crust compared

The crust and product line matter. These seven pizzas differ in protein, fiber, sodium and allergens, even when the toppings sound similar.

US manufacturer information checked .

This page compares the seven individual pizzas listed in the manufacturer’s pizza directory on the checked date. Figures are for the whole labeled package, not a slice. Max Pro packages weigh 170 g; the cauliflower-crust pizzas here weigh 178–187 g.

How is protein per 100 calories calculated?

Protein grams ÷ calories × 100, rounded to one decimal place. For example, Max Pro Cheese Lovers is 33 ÷ 360 × 100 = 9.2 g per 100 calories. This ratio compares protein relative to calories; it is not a health score or a portion recommendation.

What changes between the labels?

Protein and fiber: all four Max Pro labels list more of both per package than the three cauliflower-crust labels. Serving weights differ, so the calculated row offers a separate look at protein relative to calories.

Sodium: Max Pro Chicken Mozzarella lists 690 mg, compared with 810 mg for Max Pro Meat Lovers. The cauliflower-crust labels range from 840 mg to 940 mg. Similar product names do not mean the same sodium content.

Compare the exact pepperoni pizza: Max Pro Uncured Pepperoni has 33 g protein and 15 g fiber in a 170 g package. Cauliflower Crust Pepperoni has 22 g protein and 4 g fiber in a 179 g pizza. They are different products.

Sugars and saturated fat: Max Pro labels show 0 g added sugars and 4.5–5 g saturated fat. The cauliflower-crust labels show 2 g added sugars and 7–8 g saturated fat. Zero added sugars does not mean zero total sugars.

These differences do not establish an overall winner. The nutrient you are comparing, the package size and the ingredients you need to check all matter.

Ingredients and allergens

The Max Pro crust lists modified wheat starch, milk protein isolate and wheat gluten. All four Max Pro allergen statements list wheat and milk; Chicken Mozzarella and Meat Lovers also list soy.

The cauliflower crust lists cauliflower, rice flour, mozzarella, rice starch and flax meal among its ingredients. The manufacturer describes these three pizzas as gluten-free, and their declared allergen statements list milk. Cauliflower crust does not mean dairy-free.

The table records the manufacturer’s declared allergens, not a guarantee about cross-contact. Read the full ingredient list and allergen information on the package you buy; formulations and labels can change.

Price, taste and preparation

No comparable current retailer prices were verified, so this page has no price winner or protein-per-dollar ranking. A manufacturer listing does not confirm stock at your local store.

Flavor, texture and individual tolerance have not been tested. Follow the cooking instructions on your exact package; instructions for another pizza or crust are not interchangeable.

“GLP-1 friendly” is manufacturer language, not a finding that a pizza is medically suitable for you. This comparison reports label information and does not predict weight loss or digestive effects. See what “GLP-1 friendly” means.
